Fertile Soil is a new type of accelerator that embraces the changing landscape of software development and empowers elite developers to create the next generation of software.

AI is rewriting the rules of software development. Tools like code generators, test copilots, and autonomous agents let senior engineers do in weeks what once took entire teams years to complete.
Pre-2025 development cycles are obsolete. Any software that isn't already profitable can and should be halted and reimagined. This will lead to massive layoffs rather than retraining, and the best talent is suddenly available and hungry to build.
Tens of thousands of seasoned developers are now on the market. Salaries are falling, productivity is rising, and AI-native workflows are the new norm.
But most accelerators still favor unproven, early-career founders.
The most efficient AI-Powered software builders today are veterans with full product-cycle experience, who've embraced AI and can ship entire products on their own.

The "one-pizza team" rule is outdated: Get ready for a single slice. With AI, one experienced builder can now outperform a traditional dev team.
"As a 30-year CTO, I'm shipping more, faster, by working solo with five AI agents than I did a year ago with five mid-level engineers. And I'm not the only one."
Wyeth Ridgway, Founder
Accelerators are favoring junior teams using AI-powered development. This is going to backfire at launch, from lack of experience knowing how to debug and deliver at scale. Seasoned builders already know what scales, what breaks, and how to deliver stable, commercial-grade software.

Passionate developers who already know what they want to build and how.
They are already prototyping and tinkering, and would go full-time if they had support.
Fertile Soil is a group of highly experienced builders working together, sharing invaluable knowledge and brainpower. We provide a base salary, resources, and support so builders can focus entirely on execution at maximum efficiency.
We provide shared infrastructure, QA, HR and GTM resources to keep developers focused on what matters.

All builders are expected to ship multiple products per year, with 90-day build cycles and clear commercialization goals.
We're raising $2M at a $10M valuation to run the model for at least 24 months, intending to reach break-even.
Net company burn will stay under $100k/month, offset by revenue from launched products.
Same $10M valuation if exercised within 12 months.
Objective: spinout the next Loveable.dev, who just raised at $1B+ valuation within 12 months of launch.
This model multiplies investor exposure across multiple high-upside startups—while we continue operations at breakeven, digging for gems.
